Post-Study Work and PR Pathway from UK

Student Route visa allows 20 hours/week during term and full-time during vacations. From January 2024, UKVI requires £1,334/month for London or £1,023/month outside London, for up to 9 months. For a London Master's that's £12,006 plus tuition. Funds must be in your or your parent's bank account for at least 28 days before the visa application.
Can I bring my spouse to the UK as a student?
Only students on PhD programs of 9 months+ or government-sponsored postgraduate research can bring dependants from 2024. Taught Master's students can no longer bring spouses or children — this changed in January 2024.
What is the Graduate Route visa for the UK?
The Graduate Route allows international graduates to stay in the UK for 2 years (3 years for PhD) after completing their degree, to work in any role at any skill level without employer sponsorship. Apply from inside the UK before your Student visa expires; £822 application fee.
